Quote of the Month

"A Ming vase can be well-designed and well-made and is beautiful for that reason alone. I don't think this can be true for photography. Unless there is something a little incomplete and a little strange, it will simply look like a copy of something pretty. We won't take an interest in it."

-John Loengard, "Pictures Under Discussion"

© Nerissa Escanlar
(Mocha's mom)
The Santa Fe Workshops has been honored to have Marty Swanson on staff for the past 14 years. As the Marketing and Public Relations manager, she has been vital to the success of the Workshops over the years. The Workshops staff celebrated her retirement with a dinner and her very own "Career in Review" slideshow. The night was filled with many a laughs (and a few tears).

We'll miss you, Marty!
