| Over the last 18 years, the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops has developed one of the most respected digital imaging programs in the world. Santa Fe Photographic Workshops’ Digital Lab answers the need for specialized image training and offers a wide variety of workshops with world-renowned instructors. All levels of instruction are offered. Topics include beginning Adobe Photoshop, advanced Adobe Photoshop, digital printmaking, black-and-white digital techniques, Adobe Lightroom, Layers and Channels, book publishing, exploring the use of digital audio, and much more. Our intensive hands-on workshops are designed to get you up to speed quickly and help broaden your technical skills resulting in increased productivity and creativity. Not only do we teach software applications, we also focus on theory and how to apply these new skills to your own projects, whether professional or personal. Sharing this learning process with fellow participants is another key ingredient of the workshop experience -- often you learn as much from them as from your instructors. Our state-of-the-art digital lab is supported by several Educational Partners and equipped with the latest imaging hardware and software, offering a unique hands-on experience to all workshop participants. In order to enhance the personal attention needed to understand each concept and technique, all workshops are limited to 12 participants and staffed with two assistants. Each participant works at their own computer workstation. The instructor’s workstation is connected into a LCD projection system that can be viewed by everyone simultaneously. |
