This intensive workshop in travel photography is a lively blend of lectures, discussions, and outdoor assignments in which participants tackle the challenges of photographing on the move with a digital camera. We discuss ways to approach and photograph people, cross-cultural considerations in foreign countries, tips on equipment and digital concerns in different travel and outdoor environments, and the use of natural light as well as fill-flash. The week includes group and individual critiques, personal assignments, and one-on-one meetings with Nevada.
The emphasis is on expanding your creative vision in the realm of outdoor and travel photography. The historic town of Santa Fe and the surrounding countryside provide a spectrum of environments that serve as photographic backdrops.
