Explore Australia on an extraordinary photographic adventure. This insider’s tour takes us to remote and exclusive locations, where Jerry and Julie share their deep knowledge of Australia and photography.
Our journey begins in cosmopolitan Melbourne. We then travel to one of the world’s most dramatic coastlines, the Great Ocean Road, where we have special boat access to photograph the breathtaking rock formations of the 12 Apostles. We then photograph a working sheep shearing station, picturesque Adelaide, and the famous vineyards of the Adelaide Hills. We take a ferry to Kangaroo Island, one of the world’s last unspoiled refuges, noted for its outstanding natural beauty and rare, diverse plants and wildlife.
Our next stop is the Flinders Ranges, with its renowned mountain views and gorges. Accompanied by an Aboriginal guide, we learn the creation stories about the ancient serpents that shaped the formations of this ancient colossus. Here we experience the true “outback,” photographing the landscape and the local characters on which legends are based.
Jerry guides our small group of adventurous photographers, providing expert advice on digital capture and workflow; Julie, a native of Australia, enriches our experience with her local knowledge.
