"Sarah is extremely gifted and well suited for this work. Her graceful ability to work with beginners is apparent." Jeffrey Rider, former workshop participant
You learn to be comfortable with your camera by understanding manual modes of exposure, the manipulation of depth of field, and the ground rules for using specific shutter speeds. Subsequent discussions cover such topics as focus, composition, lenses, natural light, and complex lighting situations. Sarah has you on the move throughout the workshop, practicing new skills daily during field trips in and around historic and picturesque Santa Fe. Sarah encourages an energetic and creative atmosphere that builds confidence in photographic abilities while nurturing the development of a unique personal vision. At the end of the week, you leave Santa Fe feeling energized and newly confident about your photography, encouraged and inspired by a collection of images that illustrate your technical and creative growth.
