Through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on application, we use layers to artfully retouch blemishes, soften wrinkles and enhance portraits. We experiment with masking techniques to execute subtle enhancements, make images “pop”, and solve compositing issues such as replacing the eyes on that one person who blinked in the best group shot at a wedding (aka swapping heads).
