We have all seen beautiful photos in magical soft light—candlelight, twilight, window light. But we have also seen all the gear needed to take those pictures—flashes, power packs, soft boxes, connectors—and understood the hassles of setting it all up. It’s enough to make any sane photographer run to daylight. But wait! You don’t need all that gear, and you don’t have to suffer through all that hassle. In this workshop, David encourages you to savor low light situations and shows you how—with just your camera and a few simple techniques—you can capture beautiful images in very little but very pretty light. Having produced two books on these very subjects, each featuring photographs made entirely with available light (a flash was never used), he now shares his insights and tips gleaned from all those dimly lit escapades with those bright and daring enough to partake. Join David as he shares his experience and knowledge on low light and available light photography. No flashes needed, no figuring, and no frustration. Just your camera, a touch of cleverness, and a creative eye. INSTRUCTOR(S)
