Whether you are using a point-and-shoot camera or a DSLR, this workshop focuses on the essentials of digital camera control, field photography techniques and inspiration for impassioned photography.

Through illustrated presentations, demonstrations, critiques, and daily assignments, the technical essentials of apertures, shutter speeds and ISO settings are reviewed and practiced to give you confident control of each photograph you make, whether you are using Auto, Program or Manual mode. We practice and play with composition, point of view, low light, slow exposure and panoramas. Using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, David covers workflow solutions to manage your growing photo collections and how to creatively adjust, retouch and present images. With group and individual coaching, you gain confidence and increased skills to creatively pursue your photography passion.

David provides experienced instruction on the best techniques for capturing nature, landscape, people, still life, cultural travel, action, or experiments in personal vision. Come get comfortable with your camera settings while honing your aesthetic, intuitive and creative eye!
