Final Cut Pro: Video Editing for HD DSLR
November 28 - December 1, 2011

This workshop has already begun or is a past workshop.

Today’s DSLRs have the amazing ability to capture high resolution, hi-definition video footage. With the combined advances in cameras, computers, and editing applications, professional-quality moving image productions have become a creative possibility for all photographers. In this fast-paced four-day workshop, we learn the basic steps and tools to capture, convert, edit, and output your hi-def footage with Final Cut Pro.

These steps include capturing, editing, sound sweetening, adding music, effects, and titles, and outputting your movie into its final format. We learn how to use media files, clips, and sequences, the elements that provide the main foundation for your work in Final Cut Pro. We learn what steps must be completed before you can move on, and what steps can be performed at any time. Working with still images and video footage, we practice and develop hands-on skills, building a solid foundation for creating a first-rate production.

Final Cut Pro is a powerful, post-production application used in the final steps of moving image projects. Working out of the Workshops state-of-the-art digital lab we explore each step of the post-production process and leave this workshop with a solid foundation in this multi-faceted software.
