Adobe Lightroom Intensive: Developing Your Creative Vision
with Eduardo Rubiano
August 9 - August 10, 2014

QUESTIONS? Call us at 505.983.1400 x111.

Recent improvements to digital flow tools, such as Adobe Lightroom, have been developed with an increasing emphasis on allowing image makers to spend less time as lab technicians and more time in the field navigating the creative process. Nevertheless, such powerful software offers many avenues and options that can undermine its benefits or overwhelm users.

In this intensive two-day exploration, Eduardo guides you through the heart of Lightroom: the Develop Module. You learn to extract the most from your images, while redefining and applying the philosophy of “less is more.” As a participant, you bring a selection of old and new images that you value deeply with the goal of redeveloping them, through purposeful employment of the digital darkroom, into an eloquent, focused expression. Be prepared to talk about your imagery by reliving the moments of capture and rediscovering the instinctive inclinations that moved you to activate the shutter.

Drawing from years of intricate technical knowledge and skills acquired from processing thousands of celebrated images in the National Geographic archives, Eduardo covers a rich range of digital image processing while maintaining a clear, accessible approach.

Tuition for this Intensive includes two lunches.
