One of America’s most spectacular urban parks, Boston’s Arnold Arboretum, provides the visual inspiration for Eddie Soloway’s weekend “Natural Eye” workshop. America’s oldest arboretum, established in 1872, and another one of the city park masterpieces of designer Frederick Law Olmstead, encompasses 265 acres. Its collection of trees and plants is considered one of the most comprehensive in the world, and its natural landscapes provide a precious oasis inside the Boston area. Calumet Photographic’s brand new Cambridge store and classroom will be our base for the workshop. This summer weekend is a perfect chance to re-energize your photography with Eddie’s eye-opening ideas and practical insights into pushing your images in new directions. The weekend starts Friday evening and finishes Sunday afternoon. Eddie weaves together many of the elements of his Santa Fe-based “Natural Eye” workshop, including activities designed to guide you to viewing the natural world with fresh eyes and fine-tuning technical ideas that help you capture what you see. For more on Eddie’s “A Natural Eye” workshops, please see the “A Natural Eye: The Summer Landscape” course description.
Includes tuition only. Lodging, transportation, and meals are not included. For complete information contact Eddie at eddie@eddiesoloway.com or visit his web site. Please mention that you learned about this opportunity through Santa Fe Photographic Workshops.
