►►SORRY, THIS WORKSHOP WILL NOT BE RUNNING. It’s like a bouillabaisse of cool things! Eddie has reached out to his New Mexico community and put together a series of events that celebrate the photographic journey. After a welcome on The Workshops campus, the adventure begins, taking us out of the classroom for the next two days. We have lunch along a mountain stream, get an insider’s tour of a great photographic gallery, check out Santa Fe’s best frame shop to explore a myriad of ways to present your prints, and visit Eddie’s studio for a demonstration on alternative process printing. Then we join him at his house for dinner and margaritas while the New Mexico sky displays all its technicolor glory at sunset. We finish off the day with a movie that gets the creative ideas bubbling. Day two takes us north for a sunrise journey into the desert high country, where one of the day's highlights is a tour of the famed Georgia O’Keeffe Home and Studio, in Abiquiú. That's followed by an afternoon immersed in the visual feast of the surrounding red rock country. There is time to make photographs (though they are not allowed on the O’Keeffe tour); however, we will not be looking at work during the two days. You come away from these adventures with a glimpse into inspiration—from the field, the studio, or both. Tuition for this Intensive includes two lunches. INSTRUCTOR(S)
