At the heart of any good photograph is both the passion for the subject and your ability to uniquely capture it. Eddie Soloway brings his “Natural Eye” workshop to Virginia in springtime for an eye-opening weekend designed to push your seeing in new directions, and then bring the technical skills of photography up to your vision. The weekend starts Friday evening and finishes Sunday afternoon, with Calumet Photographic’s Tysons Corner location serving as our classroom and home base. Spring is the time of year the land comes alive—as trees and flowers are blooming, and color spreads across the once wintry landscape—and the nearby Meadowlark Botanical Garden gives us great access to the spring landscape. Eddie weaves together many of the elements of his Santa Fe-based “Natural Eye” workshop, including activities designed to change your perspective, sharpen your senses, and fine-tune your techniques. Join Eddie in Virginia to re-energize your photography with exciting ideas, practical insights, an in-the-field session, and a chance to review your efforts. At the end of the workshop you will find yourself focused less on objects and things and more on the magic of moments and the essence of places. For more on Eddie’s “A Natural Eye” workshops, please see the A Natural Eye: The Spring Landscape course description.
Includes tuition only. Lodging, transportation, and meals are not included. For complete information contact Eddie at eddie@eddiesoloway.com or visit his web site, www.eddiesoloway.com. Please mention that you learned about this opportunity through Santa Fe Photographic Workshops.
