In this two-and-a-half day intensive participants familiarize themselves with the newest Mac operating system (Mountain Lion 10.8), addressing brand-new tools as well as classic Mac applications. We delve into Apple’s built-in software—like iCal, Address Book, Mail, and Preview—to make sure you’re getting the most out of your apps. We also explore some of Mountain Lion’s cutting-edge features, such as the Notification Center, Messages, Sharing, Reminders, and iCloud. You’ll be surprised at how many timesaving features you’ll discover as we examine the system preferences and review helpful shortcuts!

As the class progresses, we talk about the best way to incorporate your iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad) into your Mac workflow by syncing calendars, contacts, photos, and more. Learn the ins-and-outs of the Mac operating system and expand your knowledge of productivity-enhancing techniques in this hands-on workshop.
