Jerry guides participants as they discover how to craft images to perfection with Adobe Photoshop and HP printers, developing an in-depth understanding of managing color accurately and achieving smooth, subtle transitions when creating fine-art-quality prints. Using Photoshop CS3, we learn to build an image file that preserves excellent detail by adjusting images with maximum control. The workshop covers all the bases, including the best way to convert color to black-and-white, sharpening methods that enhance detail, and simple layering and masking techniques—everything necessary to successfully navigate the HP printer and software. We experiment with different kinds of printing papers to understand how they affect image presentation and quality.
