Sara Wood began her photographic career at the age of nine when she received her first camera; it shaped her life and the way she viewed the world. She went on to receive a BS in photographic communications with a concentration in advertising from RIT. Sara worked in New York assisting commercial photographers for several years before relocating to Los Angeles, where she joined Nikon as a photographic educator, trainer, and speaker. She is currently a professional markets technical representative and manages the Southwestern region of the United States, working with news and government agencies, photographic organizations, and professional photographers. She continues to pursue her own work, including studio, portrait, and music photography.
Mark Suban provides consulting and technical support to professional photographers, including newspaper, industrial, police and forensic, medical photography, commercial studios, audio-visual production houses, and the U.S. government. Mark previously worked at the Associated Press with photo editors, bureau chiefs, and news editors in all 50 states. His photographic roots started in the U.S. Air Force, where for 21 years he managed photographers for presidential inaugurations, developed and taught multimedia curriculum, planned and operated photo workshops, and managed Air Force multimedia centers in Europe and Washington, D.C. He is currently a full time professional markets technical representative with Nikon Professional Services, based in the Washington, D.C. area.
