Peter Jones has been a cave photographer for 45 years. In 2003, he spent three weeks photographing Carlsbad Caverns for the National Park Service. He served as still photographer and a film crew member for the Lechuguilla Cave portion of National Geographic Channel's “Mysteries Underground,” as well as logistics coordinator for the NOVA program “Mysterious Life of Caves.” His work hangs in the Cavern Arts Project Gallery in the Visitor Center at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, and he has taught numerous cave photography workshops at the park and various other venues.
