Jock Sturges is a fine-art photographer known for his nudes and extended portraits of families in Northern California, Ireland, and France. His large-format images borrow significantly from classical periods in both photography and painting. The author of several books, Jock has most recently been working in the world of high fashion, for publications such as L’Uomo Vogue, Japan Vogue, Rebel, POP, and Arena Homme Plus, among others. His work is in the collections of major museums including New York's Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, and the Frankfurt Museum of Modern Art in Germany. This is Jock's sixth year teaching in San Miguel.
