Jennifer Spelman is a freelance editorial and documentary photographer. She was first introduced to photography by documenting crime scenes for jury presentation with a District Attorney’s office. Leaving behind the world of law enforcement she received her photographic training as an assistant with The Workshops, working with some of today’s most preeminent photographers: Jay Maisel, David Alan Harvey, and Antonin Kratochvil. Jennifer has been published in Food & Wine, The Sun, Rangefinder, and B&W. Her clients include Seven Squared Media, The Heart Gallery, What Moves You, Sanjhi, and Sustainable Santa Fe. She has co-instructed with National Geographic Expeditions and taught workshops in India, Mexico, and Cuba. This is her fifth year teaching at The Workshops.
