Dan Burkholder

Dan Burkholder has a long history of looking beyond the photographic horizon to see, explore, teach, and exhibit the next great thing in imaging. His book iPhone Artistry is the universe’s most comprehensive (and fun!) how-to book for iPhone photographers and his ground-breaking Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing has become a standard resource in the fine-art photography community. His poignant monograph, The Color of Loss, intimately documented the flooded interiors of post-Katrina New Orleans and his platinum/palladium and inkjet prints are included in private and public collections internationally.

Dan has taught digital imaging workshops for over 20 years at venues spanning three continents and several island countries. His workshops are known for their energy, information, and humor. This is his 13th year teaching at The Workshops. Dan’s web site is www.danburkholder.com.
