Alexander Heilner has been photographing landscapes around the world for more than twenty years. His artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and his aerial photography has been featured in numerous publications, including JPG and National Geographic. Alex earned his BA at Princeton University and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. In 1996, after working commercially for several years, Alex turned his attention to his art and to education. He has been teaching photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art since 2003 and currently serves as the college’s Associate Dean of Design and Media Studies. His web site is www.heilner.net.
