Our sincerest desire is to maintain a consistent level of photographic proficiency, therefore many workshops for Advanced Amateurs and Professionals require a portfolio submisison prior to acceptance.
Your application and deposit will reserve a space in the workshop of your choice, but you are not officially accepted into a workshop that requires a portfolio until we review appropriate samples of your photography. Images are reviewed by The Workshops staff. If we do not feel that your choice is appropriate, we will call you and discuss other possibilities. If you choose not to transfer to a suggested alternate workshop, we will refund the deposit, less a $50 processing fee.
After applying for the workshop, submit your images using the following guidelines:
SUBMIT TWENTY PHOTOGRAPHS: Viewing a personal web site or images submitted via email are the preferred method of submission. To submit slides or printed materials please call (505) 983-1400, ext. 111.
• Images should be formatted as 72 dpi at 1000px on the long side; save as a JPEG
• Images can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
• Images on a CD/DVD must include your contact information on the label, and filenames must include your first and last name
