»Beat the Heat: Think about Fall!

No matter what our age, fall always seems hold the anticipation of being “back-to-school time.” This year, embrace it and join us in Santa Fe for our Fall 2011 program.

In addition to single workshops scheduled in August/September, we have a full four-week program of 4-day workshops beginning October 5. Our range of offerings is rich and enticing… Sam Abell returns October 5–8 with his rarely available The Next Step; Paul Elledge and Leasha Overturf join us October 12–15 to lead The Contemporary Black-and-White Portrait. The spring classes of Encaustic for Photographers (Jill Burkholder) and iPhone Artisitry (Dan Burkholder) were so popular we’re running them again October 12–15.

We now officially have"Capture to Print” workshops; explore the Bisti Wilderness (David Halpern, October 6–11) or the Great Sand Dunes (Tony Bonanno, October 13–18), then return to The Workshops to process and print. And to stay on the cutting edge, we have Embry Rucker joining us October 26–29 to get us moving with multimedia in Motion: A Guerllia Approach.

Portfolio Bootcamp is a weekend intensive workshop aimed at helping photographers get their portfolios into great shape. Attendees receive hands-on professional advice on editing, sequencing, preparing for portfolio reviews, and how to craft outstanding award submissions.
