»Scholarships for Summer 2013

Santa Fe Photographic Workshops is committed to creating opportunities for photographers of all ages and skill levels. We offer five scholarships—two awarded by Nikon and three by The Workshops—for workshops running between June and December 2013. The values of the scholarships range from $1,000 to $1,500.

We encourage you to apply! All materials must be received by The Workshops by April 19. Scholarship winners will be notified on April 26. Get all the details on our web site, get your applications in, then pack your bags and come see us this summer!

Nikon Scholarships: two scholarships (up to $1000 each) available to anyone
Passionate Photographer: one scholarship (up to $1500) available to anyone
Emerging Photographer: one scholarship (up to $1500) available to 18-25 year olds
New Mexico Resident: one scholarship (up to $1000) available to full time New Mexico residents

»Looking Ahead to Fall

(Drum roll, please.) We are returning to San Miguel de Allende in October! The New York Times recently ran a 36 Hours in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico article; we, of course recommend a week-long workshop!

Rich in culture, heritage, holidays, and fiestas, our San Miguel workshops are hosted on a lovely campus a few blocks from el Jardín, the central plaza.

Instructors for the Fall 2013 San Miguel program are: Joe McNally, Arthur Meyerson, Tood H. Williams, Greg Gorman, Amy Toensing, Holly Wilmeth, Jock Sturges, Jennifer Spelman, and Sarah Meghan Lee.

The schedule is posted, and complete course details, biographies and pricing for San Miguel workshops scheduled for October 2013 will be posted by mid-April.

Channel Islands National Park

Ian Shive of Tandem Stills + Motion and Santa Fe Workshops are pleased to present a workshop that benefits one of North America’s treasures: Channel Islands National Park, an isolated oasis of biodiversity.
