»ANIMALS Photo Contest: Early Deadline March 19

The theme is ANIMALS, so we have to say it. The early bird catches the worm. Enter by Tuesday, March 19, midnight MST and save $10. And here is the insider tip: you’ll still have until May 7 to upload your entries.

Our contest is an opportunity to join our international community of photographers and share your portraits with our distinguished judges: Crista Dix, Founder and Director, Wall Space Gallery; Elizabeth Cheng Krist, Senior Photo Editor, National Geographic; Ian Shive, Photographer, Founder/CEO,Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc; and Reid Callanan, Director, Santa Fe Photographic Workshops.

The Workshops is grateful to our educational partners and sponsors who have contributed to an impressive prize list with a total value of over $14,000. The Grand Prize alone is worth over $5,000!

Early submission deadline is March 19; fee is $30 for 3 images. Standard fee of $40 for 3 images submitted March 20 – May 7. $10 for each additional image over 3. ANIMALS closes May 7, 2013.

Channel Islands National Park

Ian Shive of Tandem Stills + Motion and Santa Fe Workshops are pleased to present a workshop that benefits one of North America’s treasures: Channel Islands National Park, an isolated oasis of biodiversity. Participants camp in the park, and a portion of tuition is a donation to the Channel Islands Park Foundation. The workshop runs May 2-5.
