If you are looking for your next great adventure, or simply a fun week exploring your love of photography, join us for a workshop experience that will change the way you look at the world, and may in fact change your life.
That’s what happened to me in the summer of 1975, when I took my first photography workshop. At the end of a magical, expanding, and unforgettable week, I asked myself, “Why would I want to go home?” I didn’t, so I stayed—and ended up working on staff for the next 14 years! Then, in 1990, I moved to Santa Fe with my family and launched the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. Why would I ever want to leave such an energizing adventure? I didn’t, and I haven’t. Come join us for the experience of a lifetime.
The workshop week uproots you from the ordinary routines and obligations of home and catapults you into a world of new challenges, insights, and inspirations. With self-expression a key component of all our offerings, your creative side moves to center stage. Come join us as you follow your passions and expand your relationship with photography.
The digital age in photography has ushered in an era of technological advances that add immensely to picture making. Learning to use the latest imaging hardware and software enhances your photographs and stimulates new avenues of creativity. Come join us to advance your skills and perfect the craft of digital imaging.
Whether photography is your vocation or your avocation, or if you dream of it becoming an important part of your future, a workshop is a great springboard for moving forward. Our close-knit community provides a safe environment for the open sharing of ideas and information, fosters respect for others’ opinions, and supports new ways of looking at photography as an expressive medium. Risk taking and experimentation are encouraged as a way to find your voice through creating images. Come join us if you want to improve the quality of your photography and venture forth in a new direction.
Santa Fe is one of the world’s most beautiful and intriguing cities. Now the second largest art market in the United States, it has a rich legacy in the photographic arts. Come join us in Santa Fe and enjoy its many sights and delights!
